Trade sheet · Builders
Websites for builders.
Out of Newcastle, for builders around the Hunter and anywhere else you work. Built to bring you the jobs you actually want, not just any job.
Why builders · Not a generic trades site
A builder's customer decides differently.
Someone booking a plumber wants it fixed today. Someone choosing a builder is about to hand over the biggest cheque of their life to a stranger. That takes a completely different site.
They research you for weeks
They will read every page you have, twice, and look at every photo. A one-page site runs out of things to say and they go and read your competitor instead.
They are frightened, not cheap
Everyone knows someone whose build went wrong. The site's job is to make you the safe choice, which is what the process, the licence and the finished jobs are doing there.
Photos do the closing
Nothing you write will beat eight good photos of a finished job in a suburb they recognise. That is why the gallery is not an afterthought stuck on the end.
The pages · Every one earns its place
What actually gets built.
Every service and every suburb gets its own page, because that is how someone searching finds you and how Google works out what you do and where.
New homes
The build type with the longest decision and the biggest cheque. It gets the most room and the most photos.
Renovations
Where most Newcastle work actually is. Weatherboard, brick veneer, the awkward 60s floor plan everyone wants opened up.
Extensions
Second storeys, rear additions, the granny flat out the back. Different search, different page.
Custom builds
For the client who arrives with an architect and a folder. The page that has to look like you belong on that job.
Decks and pergolas
Smaller tickets, faster decisions, and the jobs that fill a gap in the calendar.
Every suburb you work
A real page for each one, with the housing stock and the jobs that actually come out of it. Not the same paragraph with the name swapped.
The build · $4,000 · standard build
Drawn, so you can see it before you buy it.
Detail schedule
- 1 Your work, up front Real photos of real jobs. The thing that actually closes a builder’s customer.
- 2 One job per visit Every page points at the same thing: get them to ask you for a price.
- 3 Every service, every suburb A page each, so the right local finds the right builder.
- 4 The form does the asking Job type, suburb, timeline. You get a lead you can price, not a name.
Half to start. Half when you are happy.
Bigger scope, more pages, migrations and custom work quoted properly after a look.
Or pay it off $1,500 to start, then $250 a month for ten months. Same $4,000, no interest. Hosting is $90 a month on top, same as always.
Have a look · Concept build
A builder's site, end to end.
Hammond & Co is a concept build, not a customer, and it says so on the site. Everything else about it is exactly what a real build gets.
Concept build
Hammond & Co Building
The full build, start to finish. Every service on its own page, a page for each suburb, the job gallery, the quote form. This is what $4,000 buys, and you can click every part of it.
Open it →- A page for every service and every suburb
- Job gallery built from the photos on your phone
- Quote form that asks job type, suburb and timeline
Questions · From builders
What builders ask me.
I already get all my work through word of mouth. Why do I need a site?
Word of mouth still sends people to Google. Someone recommends you at a barbecue, the bloke looks you up on the drive home, finds nothing, and rings whoever does turn up. The site is not there to replace your referrals, it is there to stop them leaking.
I have a Facebook page. Is that enough?
It is something, but it is not yours and it does not show up when someone searches for a builder in your suburb. A Facebook page also cannot list your services, your areas, your licence and your jobs in a way Google can read and rank.
What sort of builder is this for?
New homes, renovations, extensions, custom builds, decks and pergolas, granny flats. If you quote jobs and you want more of the good ones, it works. It is aimed at builders doing solid work who are invisible online.
Do you show my licence number and insurance?
Yes, if you give them to me. I never invent a licence number, an ABN, an insurance status or a review. If I do not have it, the site does not claim it.
What if I do not have good photos?
Most builders have more than they think, sitting on their phone. Job photos taken on site are usually better than staged ones anyway, because they look real. We work with what you have and I will tell you straight if a job needs a couple more shots.
Do you work outside Newcastle?
Yes. I am based in Newcastle and most of my work is around the Hunter, but the build is done remotely, so where you are does not change the price or the timeline.
